Homeopathic preparations are diluted past the point of Avagadro’s number. In most cases, nothing physical of the original substance remains. Illness ( and therefore healing) occurs prior to the existence of chemical tissue change. It is only the influence of 100 years of the pharmaceutical industry that have convinced us that the body needs chemical manipulation to get better.

It is true that the homeopathic process is little understood but there are hundreds of clinical trials proving its efficacy. Articles like this always claim that they do not exist and cite the few number-crunched trials that put effectiveness down to placebo. (so I will post some references at the end)

There are hundreds of conventional drugs for which the mode of action is unknown – read any mims. Somehow when it is homeopathic remedies everyone wants to shout ‘hoax’ despite the fact that it is the second largest system of medicine and helps millions of people every day.

Just because you do not understand something – do not assume it cannot be valid.
