Before you rush off and choose any form of treatment for your hemorrhoid condition, it is important that you take the time to first learn about the actual problem itself, what is involved with it, and how serious your condition actually is. This way you will be able to intelligently determine which specific method of treatment is going to be best suited to you.

What Hemorrhoids Are

Hemorrhoids are actually a normal part of the anal canal however problems can occur when veins inside of the hemorrhoids swell or burst. Most people experience at least some form of hemorrhoid problem in their lifetime, which can vary in severity anywhere from mild to severe, and there are basically four different degrees of severity: first degree, second degree, third degree, and fourth degree.

In first degree the hemorrhoid does not stick out from the anus, second degree it sticks out from the anus during a bowel movement but returns on its own to the anal canal afterward, third degree it sticks out from the anus during a bowel movement and does not return to the anal canal on its own and in this case you can push it inside the anus with your finger and then it will stay in, and fourth degree is when the hemorrhoid is always outside the anus and cannot be pushed inside the anal canal.

Herbal Hemorrhoids Medicine

There are many different medicines and treatments for hemorrhoid conditions available, but most of them are more conventional, namely prescription medications. Herbal medicine is a great option because it is a more natural way of treating your condition and does not come with any of the side effects that more conventional medicine often does.

There are actually a few different herbal options that you have to choose from, one in particular involving Vitamin E, which is a fat-soluble vitamin that exists in eight entirely different forms. All forms of the vitamin work to protect your cells against the effects of free radicals, which are potentially dangerous and damaging by-products of energy metabolism.

Another of the most commonly used herbal hemorrhoids medicines is horse chestnut, which is a type of tree from which the nuts contain high concentrations of a saponin-class toxin known as Aesculin, which is actually toxic to many animals including humans. However if used in moderation it can effectively and quickly treats hemorrhoids.

You should talk to your doctor first before starting yourself on any herbal hemorrhoid medicine, in order to ensure not only that you are choosing the best option possible but also to make sure that your condition is not so serious that it requires a more severe method of treatment.
